NAMM: Tama's Limited Edition Rockstar Kits

Rockstar Custom in Black Marine Pearl

The 2003 NAMM show saw the unveiling of limited edition Rockstar Custom sets which feature covered finishes instead of Rockstar Custom's signature painted finishes. The 5 pc kits are available in three different classic Duracover finishes: White Marine Pearl, Blake Marine Pearl and Silver Sparkle. The bass drum hoops and snare drum also feature matching finishes.

With the exception of the covering, the drums are identical in specs to Rockstar Custom drums (9mm shells with 1 inner ply of basswood and 7 plies of Philippine mahogany).

The sets feature Accel-sized toms in the fusion configuration (rack toms only) which are mounted with Tama's Star-Cast free suspension system.
