PRESS RELEASE

New Heavy Jazz Model Drumstick from Zildjian

January 22, 2003

The Zildjian Company announced the addition of the Heavy Jazz Model Drumstick to its line of drumsticks at Winter NAMM.

Constructed from U.S. laminated birch, the Heavy Jazz Model Drumstick is a heavier than normal weight version of Zildjian's popular Jazz Wood Tip model. Aside from providing a very solid feel and additional durability out of the compact size stick, the material produces high-pitched tones on instruments and a super solid cross-stick sound. The oval bead produces warm tones with a moderate amount of overtone. This stick is ideal for drummers who want a normal sized stick with additional weight and heft for use in Rock, Jazz and Concert Snare drum playing.

The Heavy Jazz Drumstick is 16 inches in length and 0.540 inches in diameter and is constructed from polyphonalicly impregnated and laminated U.S. Birch.

List Price (per pair): $13.60
