NAMM: K Custom Fast Crashes from Zildjian

Hot on the heels of last year's A Custom Fast Crash cymbals, the Zildjian Company announced the release of the new K Custom Fast Crashes. Available in sizes 14", 15", 16", 17" and 18", the new Crashes add breadth and variety to this classically dark and unique range.

Inspired by the A Custom Fast Crash cymbals introduced last year, the new K Custom Fast Crashes offer a fresh Crash sound that speaks quickly yet is still dark and full bodied. The mighty Dennis Chambers worked with Zildjian's R & D team to help bring those same characteristics into the darker sound of the K Custom range.

Zildjian's K Custom cast cymbal ranges are designed to provide more clarity with a quicker attack and faster decay than traditional K Zildjians, allowing them to excel in a variety of modern musical settings. An innovative blend of traditional and modern hammering techniques dries out the sound, enhancing the K character of each cymbal. The K Custom Fast Crashes have an innovative new bell design and faster decay than the regular K Custom Dark Crashes, and all have the Brilliant Finish. These new Fast Crashes bring speed and color to the dark side of the palette.
