Behringer has launched three console-style powered mixers, EUROPOWER PMX1000 (USD 379.99 MSRP), EUROPOWER PMX3000 (USD 499.99 MSRP) and EUROPOWER PMX5000 (USD 629.99 MSRP). These ultra-compact 2 x 300-Watt (PMX1000) and 2 x 400-Watt (PMX3000 and PMX5000) powered mixers incorporate CoolAudio, Behringer's new amplification technology that delivers power and performance packed into a super-light form factor that has nearly half the depth and weight of conventional powered mixers. The PMX Series mixers are expected to ship in the first quarter of 2004.

All three table-top PMXs offer flexible I/O options that are ideal for almost any live application, from 4 mono and 4 stereo channels (PMX1000) to 8 mono and 4 stereo (PMX3000), all the way to 12 mono and 4 stereo channels (PMX5000), with IMP "Invisible" Mic Preamps on all or most mono channels. The PMX1000 and PMX3000 feature one 24-bit stereo FX processor, while the PMX5000 offers two independent 24-bit stereo FX processors with 99 outstanding VIRTUALIZER presets each including reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger and more. Behringer's proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection System reveals critical frequencies on the EQ's fader LEDs, making easy feedback removal possible without using external equipment. In addition, there are 3-band channel EQs, switchable pad and clip LEDs on all mono channels as well as a stereo 7-band graphic EQ for precise frequency correction of monitor and main outputs. A special Voice Canceller function removes singer's voice from recordings for Karaoke applications.

The Behringer Speaker Processing function adjusts frequency response to match professional speaker systems, and a standby switch mutes all input channels during breaks while background music is provided via tape inputs.
