OS X Versions of T-RackS Mastering Plug-In Due Later This Month

IK Multimedia announced that
T-RackS analog modeled mastering plug-in for Audio Units and VST on
MacOS X (as well as the RTAS version for Windows) will be available by the
end of January 2004. These brings the total number of platforms supported to 11 (HTDM, RTAS, VST, Dxi and
AU in Windows, MacOS 9 and MacOS X) all from the same box.
T-RackS is an analog-modeled mastering plug-in constructed with physical
models of tube circuitry. It offers a complete suite of plug-ins comprising of 5 discrete
processors:
- A six band parametric EQ
- A classic stereo tube Compressor
- A multiband master stereo Limiter
- A Soft-Clipping stage
- A complete mastering suite made of EQ, Compressor, Limiter and Soft Clipping stage
T-RackS can enhance mix frequencies, broaden the
stereo image as well as boost or precisely level the dynamic range. All of this, while adding
the beautiful warmth and space of the tube-devices it emulates.
Price and Availability
T-RackS for Audio Units, VST for MacOSX and RTAS for Windows will be available at
$399MSRP, at the end of January 2004.
Users that bought T-RackS after 1st April 2003 will be able to download it for free from the
user area on www.t-racks.com. Users that have purchased it previously can upgrade for $79 price online.
