McDSP Releases Panther and HD Accel Updates January 23, 2004
McDSP is now shipping Mac OS X Panther and Pro Tools HD Accel
compatible versions of its entire
product line.

- Synthesizer One v 3.0
In addition to the support for digidesign's latest hardware, many new
features have been added.
FilterBank has four new variable Q modes. Normal: +/- 12 dB range 0.2
(5 octaves wide) to 4.0
5x: +/- 12 dB range 1.0 to 20.0 (less than one semi tone) Notch: +
12/- 24 dB range 0.2 to 20.0
and Gain: +/- 12 dB range 0.2 to 6.0 (gain dependent)
New features in Synthesizer One version 3.0 include:
- Up to 22 voices and 6 separate fx sections per dsp chip on HD Accel
- New OSC filter modes - pass only even, odd, or other harmonic multiples
- New user interface
- Fine control now available in popup sliders
- Additional anti-aliasing modes
Analog Channel now has "virtual analog" Meters. These VA meters are
selectable and display Input,
Output and the virtual circuit's gain reduction.
