One year ago Moog Music announced the Minimoog Voyager, an all analog performance synthesizer incorporating virtually all of the functions of the original Minimoog synthesizer (produced from 1971 to 1984) and a number of new features that makes this the Minimoog for the 21st Century.
Moog Music celebrates the birthday of its prodigy with the Minimoog Voyager Anniversary Edition, featuring a black cabinet and front panel and electric blue back-lit legends and pitch and mod wheels. The total effect is stunning and will add style and panache to any musician's stage presence.
The Anniversary Edition comes loaded with presets supplied by such musical luminaries as Printz Board of Black Eyed Peas, James Lumb of Electric Skychurch, Don Preston of the Mothers, Fred Wreck with Snoop Dogg, Patrick Moraz formerly with Yes and the Moody Blues, Charlie Clouser formerly with Nine Inch Nails, Darrell Diaz, Keith Emerson, Herbie Hancock, Indie.Arie, Geoffrey Keezer of Christian McBride, Frank Lucas, Jamie Muhoberac, Bernie Worrell from Parliament/Funkadelic, Roger Manning, Jr. with Beck, Moog Product Manager Steve Dunnington, and of course, Bob Moog.
The Anniversary Edition will sell for $3295 and is expected to ship in February.
