OLP to Produce John Petrucci Signature Models
 January 26, 2004Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci and OLP, maker of officially licensed music products, have announced the introduction of an exciting new OLP signature model guitar bearing Petrucci's name. The instrument reflects the distinctive design of Petrucci's signature Ernie Ball-Music Man guitars, but at a price that most any player can afford.
The OLP/John Petrucci model guitar offers a beveled, Silhouette-style body design with a special contoured armrest; a Red Pearl Burst finish with paint-to-match headstock; two Humbucking pickups; a nonlocking tremolo unit; a Maple neck with an extra-flat radius Rosewood fingerboard; the trademarked "4+2" Music Man headstock design; and Petrucci's preferred volume, tone and pickup switching layout.
Consistently voted one of the world's finest players by guitar magazines and fans worldwide, Petrucci is known for his fiery fretwork with the progressive rock group Dream Theater and his various side projects such as Liquid Tension Experiment.
