Almost forty years ago, the Ovation Roundback made its debut. Now the new OvationUSA LX models give you more good reasons to add an Ovation to your collection. These instruments include some very new ideas -- plus some great enhancements.
On the acoustic side, there's a new scalloped bracing pattern that puts more depth and richness into the tone, while still maintaining the signature Ovation balance and clarity according to the company. The new Lyrachord GS body uses Glass Microsphere technology to increase projection and strength while reducing weight.
Plug in an LX and get the performance of Ovation's Original Patented Pickup and the new OP-Pro preamp. Higher in output and more balanced in response than any other pickup, the Original Patented Pickup has been the choice of knowledgeable players (and their soundmen) for over 3 decades.
Ovation's playability has also been upgraded. The new Advanced Neck System features a dual-action truss rod for precise relief adjustments and carbon fiber stabilizers that keep the fingerboard aligned at the neck-to-body joint.
