Three New Bass Combos Added to Peavey's BAM Line

BAM 110
(Click for a close-up of the controls)
January 16, 2004

Peavey introduced new modeling bass amplifiers to the BAM Series, their premier bass combo line, featuring built-in effects, multiple voicing modes, compact size and high power output.

The new Peavey BAM 110, BAM 112 and BAM 115 bass combos distill the power and features of the original BAM amplifiers into single 10", 12" and 15" speaker models for players who want stadium sound at club-sized volume. These amplifiers feature four amp models--vintage, max, modern and pro--for the versatility essential in a modern bass rig, regardless of size, with preamp controls such as analog high, low, mid & shift, plus pre- & post-gain. Seven built-in digital effects such as chorus, flanger, phaser, acoustic, octaver, synth and distortion add even more dimension and personality to the sonic palette, while controls for speed and depth help carve individual settings.

The BAM 115 pushes 250 Watts through a ported, angled baffle for tilt-back sound and maximum sound distribution. The BAM 112 and 110 are responsible for 150 Watts each and also feature angled baffles. All three amps come with adjustable compression (level and squeeze controls), a tweeter with on/off switch and a 10 dB input pad. Other features include 1/4" input, adjustable low-Z XLR line out, power amp in, preamp out and optional footswitch.

The BAM 110, 112 and 115 will be available in April 2004.
