The Ultra, a reported favorite of the Cure's Robert Smith and Powerman 5000's Mike Tempesta, will return to Schecter's 2004 line.
Making its return at Winter NAMM, the new Ultra has been redesigned to include features like a 24 3/4" set-in mahogany neck with a sleek ultra-access neck heel, which will allow playability ease to the upper frets.
A complete TonePros system, including locking tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece, will be added to further enhance the inherent sustain and tonal clarity of the Ultra.
Two Duncan Designed HB-102 humbuckers, which can be 'tapped' via a push-pull control on the Ultra's tone pot will make the new Ultra far more sonically versatile.
Chrome hardware, Grover tuners and creme neck binding are also standard features.
The new Ultra's appearance will also be changed to have a more 'old school' vibe, and will now available in Transparent Cherry and a Dark Vintage Sunburst finishes.
MSRP: $699.00. All Schecter Diamond Series Guitars are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
