SoundToys Inc. (formerly Wave
Mechanics), announced SoundBlender VS, a new version of the
SoundBlender multi-effects plug-in, specifically
designed for the Roland V-Studio platform. This announcement coincides
with the news of Roland opening its successful V-Studio platform to
outside plug-in developers, for the 1st time in the company's history.
Just like the original SoundBlender, SoundBlender VS
features dozens of individual time, pitch, filter and modulation-based
effects in a single plug-in. With a newly designed, easy to use
interface, and a host of new presets, SoundBlender VS brings effects processing to Roland VS users, at an
affordable price.
With its Intelligent Harmonizing, Delays, Chorus, Stereo Widening,
Flanging, Filtering and other effects, SoundBlender VS is a unique
set of tools that allows users to create an almost limitless variety of
effects.
Pricing and Availability
SoundBlender VS will be available from Roland and a wide range of
dealers for $199 USMRP during the second quarter of 2004.To add
SoundBlender to a V-Studio, users must have Roland's new VS8F-3 Plug-In
