TC Electronic announced a software update to version 1.25 for the G-Major guitar multi-effects processor. The update is available now for all G-Major owners as a free download from www.tcelectronic.com.
Updates to the G-Major include an added curve for level parameters that allows better control over the behavior of an expression pedal, an expanded Mod menu with more parameter control, Noise Gate functionality regardless of Global Input Level and optimized bypass levels.
The Tuner and the Pitch Section algorithms have been improved and a Kill Dry parameter was added to facilitate using the G-Major in a parallel loop.
According to Product Manager Michael B wadt, "The upgrade was largely driven by user feedback. For example, expanding the Mod Menu to provide more control over the parameters is a direct result of incorporating user input into our development process."
