Auto-Tune Coming to Roland's VS Series Recorders

Soon to be available for the VS line of hard disk recorders, Auto-Tune VS corrects intonation problems in vocals or solo instruments, in real time, while preserving of the nuance of the original performance.

Auto-Tune VS Features:

  • Auto-Tune VS corrects intonation problems in vocals or solo instruments, in real time .
  • "Source Specific" processing algorithms for Soprano Voice, Alto/Tenor Voice, Low Male Voice, Instrument and Bass Instrument.
  • Program custom scales to match any harmonic structure
  • Phase-coherent pitch correction of stereo tracks.
  • Set target pitches in real-time via MIDI from a keyboard or sequencer track.
  • A Make Scale From MIDI function lets you play a melody from a MIDI keyboard or sequencer and have Auto-Tune VS construct a custom scale containing only those notes that appear in the melody.
