Behringer Introduces 2-Way Monitor 1C

Behringer announced its multi-purpose 2-way studio loudspeaker system MONITOR 1C (USD 49.99 MSRP) at this year's Winter NAMM show. This monitor system is suited for fixed installations, multimedia, home recording studios, audio/video productions and surround-sound systems. The MONITOR 1C is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2004.

The MONITOR 1C sports a 5 1/2" woofer with a light-weight cellulose cone plus a high-resolution 1/2" tweeter, producing a linear frequency response ranging from 60 Hz to 23 kHz. Its high power handling capability (100 Watts / IEC268-5) produces a full-range output, while a phase-optimized high-precision crossover delivers phase linearity. Plus, the auto overload protection prevents tweeter damage and resets automatically. A protective grille and exceptionally rugged construction round off this powerful monitor package.
