Two New P Series Subwoofers from Crate Audio

P118S

New for 2004, Crate Audio announced the addition of two new sub enclosures to their speaker line – the P115S and P118S sub woofers.

The Crate Audio P series sub woofers are single speaker, direct radiating, vented sub-woofer enclosures with built-in passive crossovers. The crossover is fixed at 120Hz. Both models feature 1/4" input jacks for use with either the sub-woofer's built-in crossover or an external active crossover that allows for easy connection in nearly every application. The P115 and 118S both have durable carpet-covering on the enclosures, along with a rugged 16-gauge steel grille for superior protection of the drivers

The P115S features a high-power 15" low frequency driver designed for high power handling (200W continuous, 800W peak). The P118S features a specially designed 18" excursion low frequency driver that handles 300W continuous and up to 1200 watts Peak. Both enclosures feature an integrated pole stand mount receptacle that supports top cabinet weights of up to 50 lbs.
