The 2004 Winter NAMM show was Crest Performance's LQ 15PSW powered subwoofer, designed for mid-level to high-end sound reinforcement applications, including houses of worship and live music performances. Flexibility is one of this subwoofer's greatest assets. It can be used strictly as a powered subwoofer or, due to its built-in electronic crossover filtering and high pass, line-level output, it can also drive powered speakers while simultaneously driving left and right passive speakers out of the left and right output jacks. In subwoofer-only mode, its peak output power is 1500 Watts (1000 Watts continuous). When the left-and-right stereo amplifier is utilized, the peak power is 325 Watts per channel or 750 Watts total. Engaging the built-in CPS-1203 full spectrum signal processor further enhances this system's floor-shaking bass output. The Sub Harmonic processor in the CPS-1203 analyzes the source audio, then generates additional low frequency output one octave lower. Because its audio analysis is dynamic, the effect is increased low bass without the muddy mid-bass region that often occurs with other frequency enhancement systems. The LQ 15PSW also features GCL compression; a 15" premium woofer; a pole tunnel for stand-mounting satellite speakers; heavy duty casters for easy mobility; and a black Hammer Head polyurea protective coating. The new LQ 15PSW is now available from Authorized Crest Performance Dealers. LQ 15PSW
