Denon Offers 7" Vinyl Adapter for Activd Platter CD/MP3 Turntables

January 23, 2004

At the Winter NAMM show, Denon showed a new 7" vinyl adapter for use with its DN-S5000 and DN-S3000 active platter CD/MP3 turntables. Along with Denon's commitment to providing free Plug-In enhancements and support for existing and new products, the adapter allows DJs to use any 7" vinyl record as their direct control interface, fastening it securely to the motor-driven turntable mechanism. The adapter provides the same vinyl feel and response as an analog turntable, with all of the advanced functions and features afforded by the digital domain. This free upgrade to existing DN-S5000's will come standard on all DN-S3000 units and all future productions of the DN-S5000.

This new adapter provides the user with the ability to redefine the style and character of their system on a whole new level – providing the ultimate vinyl feel by using none other than vinyl itself. This user installable adapter, along with several newly available Plug-Ins for Denon's acclaimed line of DJ products, are available free of charge to current users of compatible units directly from Denon. Current DN-S5000 users who have registered their unit's software with Denon USA will automatically receive this free enhancement in the mail.

The 7" vinyl adapter is currently available and can be obtained free of charge by contacting Denon directly via its website at www.usa.denon.com/dj.
