ESP Adds New MH Series Models and Black Diamond Plate Guitar

February 01, 2004

ESP's last diamond plate guitar was such a gem that they had to go and outdo themselves with the new LTD EX-400BD. Similar to the discontinued EX-351D, the BD has a new black diamond plate top. This guitar also features EMG-81 active pickups, Grover tuners, and the Earvana compensated nut.

In 2004, the LTD MH Series guitars come in both tremolo and non-tremolo versions. The MH-400, MH-250, MH-100QM and MH-50 all feature Floyd Rose Licensed tremolos, along with quilted maple tops (except the MH-50). The non-trem models–MH-400NT, MH-250NT, MH-100QMNT, and MH-50NT–feature tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru-body, plus the same pickups and finishes. Now you can have that MH shape in either a trem or a non-trem version.
