New AG-400 from Garrison Guitars

January 15, 2004

(Click for a close-up)

The AG Series blends a variation of Garrison's glass-fibre bracing technology – the Griffiths Active Top Brace – with traditional wood bracing, binding and kerfing to produce a product that sounds like a guitar twice its price according to the company. The Griffiths Active Top Brace replaces all the guitar's top braces and bridge plate with a single, glass-fibre unit.

The AG-400 Series features a solid Cedar top, Mahogany back and sides, Rosewood fretboard and bridge, chrome tuners and gloss finish. And for players wanting to go live - optional Electronics. The AG-400 is also available in Black, 12-string and cutaway versions.

The AG-400 retails for $349.99.
