Neo-X 400 Added to Genz Benz Bass Combo Line

Genz Benz unveiled the NEO-X Bass combo at Winter NAMM. Based on the GBE600 bass amp and NEO-X speaker cabinet, Genz Benz has now brought the best of both worlds together in one portable powerhouse.

With 400 watts of power at its disposal, the NEO-X utilizes a custom 12" Neodymium speaker, which ensures a fast, transient tonal response, and a variable level compression tweeter to dial in the perfect amount of attack. All this comes in a very portable 62-pound design.

The NEO-X Bass Combo features:

  • 2 Channel preamp. (F.E.T. and 12AX7 Tube preamp)
  • 400 watts @ 4 ohms (with extension speaker).
  • 300 watts @ 8 ohms.
  • Fan cooled.
  • Neodymium 12" speaker.
  • Compression tweeter with variable level control.
  • 2-button footswitch for preamp mix and/or channel selection
  • Optional footswitch available to access 3 signal shape circuits and muting.
  • Edge lift handles on top and kick back handle underneath.
  • Weighs in at 62 pounds.
