Hamer USA announced the addition of the Hamer Improv to the expanding line of fine guitars crafted in its New Hartford, CT Workshop.

The Improv features a Honduras Mahogany body with carved back, complimented by Ivoroid/six-ply multi-stripe binding and a fossilized Ivory tailpiece block. Other features include a book-matched, and arched Spruce top with two bound f-holes and Ivoroid/multi-stripe binding, bound Mahogany neck with dark ebony fingerboard, "Victory" inlays, and a hand-wound custom shop pickup from Seymour Duncan. Ebony volume and tone knobs are mounted on an Ebony pickguard. Ebony can also be seen on the peghead face, tuning buttons and tailpiece.

Available in Vintage Natural and Jazzburst finishes, the Hamer Improv retails at $6,999 including case.
