New Bass Preamp Pedal from Hartke

January 29, 2004

(Click for a close-up)

Hartke introduced their newest piece of gear to the bass market at the 2004 Winter NAMM show, the Hartke Bass Attack Pedal.

The Hartke Bass Attack Pedal is a tone-shaping pre-amp that doubles as a direct box, featuring the Hartke Shape Circuitry. The two-button style stomp box has a three band EQ for adjustments of Bass, Treble, and Bright controls, plus a Harmonic control that emulates the warmth and drive of a tube.

The pedal also features a post/pre selectable direct out with gold plated XLR, as well as a parallel linked 1/4" in/out. The unit can operate on 9-volt DC or phantom power, and the whole thing is housed in a rugged extruded steel and aluminum chassis for years of stomping.

The Hartke Bass Attack Pedal will have a list price of $149.99
