The Iceman Bass Returns

Ibanez hasn't had an Iceman bass since the '90s, but remedies the situation at the Winter NAMM Show. "The new IC200 is different than our last '90s Iceman bass," commented Pete Chiavarou of the Ibanez Bass Divison. "The IC200 has a much more '70s look and feel to it. It's got a thicker maple neck that augments the mahogany tone and sustain. We also added the old '70s style tone control indicators and our old pearl block inlays to give it the right '70s vibe." The Iceman shape, introduced in the mid'70s, was one of Ibanez's first original designs and is certainly one of the most recognized profiles in musical instruments. It has been used for both guitar and basses over the past 30 years. The ICB200 Iceman bass lists for $529.00. Model ICB200
