Chrome Tone TDM Shipping; RTAS Support Announced

Chrome Tone, McDSP's sixth plug-In for the ProTools platform, is a collection of effects that includes distortion, compression, gating, chorus, flange, EQ, wah, tremolo, spring reverb and tape delay effects These effects are designed with sonic flexibility for a myriad of applications from guitar, keyboards, drums and even voice. Chrome Tone brings the world of custom guitar amps, boutique outboard gear and pedal effects inside your DAW.

Chrome Tone's initial release is TDM only for Mac OS9 and OSX with a retail price of $495.

RTAS support will be a free update post to the McDSP Web site in March 2004. Shown at the 2004 winter NAMM show this free update will also included 40 Rhythm Files for triggering the envelops of the Chrome Tone modulation effects. These MIDI files give underscore the incredible flexibility of this our standing creative tool. Chrome Tone brings the world of custom guitar amps, boutique outboard gear and pedal effects inside your Digital Audio Workstation.
