Rimshot announced the introduction of its drumsticks in the United States and displayed them at Winter NAMM 2004. Rimshot drumsticks will be distributed by Horizon Music Inc. and Rapco International. From amateurs to professional rock-and-rollers, Rimshot offers a wide variety of drumsticks guaranteed to fit the style and preference of most every drummer.

Rimshot's unique models include:

  • Power Grooves – These models offer a unique center of balance and taper design to produce an quick response and dynamic reaction. Each series comes with strategically placed grooves to match the design and purpose of the stick. The grip area also has a taper reduction of .030", which contours naturally to your hands. The result is a more confident hold with less hand tension. They come in a wide variety of lengths and diameters.
  • Pro Grip – Hot stage lights and demanding solos often lead to wet and slick hands. The Pro Grip models give drummers a comfortable, non-slip grip that reduces hand tension and calluses. The Pro Grip is an excellent alternative to gloves or tape. They come in a variety of lengths and diameters.
  • Deadlock Tip – Rimshot's patented nylon tip drumsticks. Whereas other drumstick companies merely push the nylon tips over a pressure bubble or glue them on, the "Deadlock Tip" secures the nylon tip to the drumstick permanently with a locking mechanism.
  • Pro Tip – The Pro Tip is a totally new design from tip to end. The combination of length, weight, diameter, taper and shape is a calculated system of variables used to create nine models that enhance technique and are exciting to play. They come in a variety of sizes and are made from Canadian Rock Maple wood as opposed to Hickory wood.
  • Artist Series – Both the Pro Tip series and the Artist series are made from Canadian Rock Maple wood as opposed to the American Select Hickory wood used in Rimshot's other drumsticks. The Canadian Rock Maple is about 10% lighter than hickory and offers great flex and lively response. Many drummers like to play larger diameter sticks without a lot of weight. The Artist series has a unique sound on symbols and also comes in a variety of lengths and diameters.
