January 22, 2004

New from Schecter is the "BlackJack Collection" consisting of six guitars. All "BlackJack" models will be armed with the Seymour Duncan JB (SH-4) and '59 (SH-1n) pickup combination, which can be 'tapped' via a push/pull tone control or a 5-way Mega Switch. Additional features include a rock maple neck set into an arched mahogany body, Grover tuning machines, and a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge, which greatly enhances the instrument's natural sustain, and ensures rock-solid intonation and sonic clarity. The appearance of these Gloss Black beauties is further enhanced by Black Chrome hardware, black pearl position markers, and Schecter's new, sleek, 'ultra-access' neck joint, which provides extreme ease of access to the upper frets. Many of Schecter's most popular body styles are available in this collection, including the C-1, 006, S-1, and PT. And, as Schecter guitars are a favorite among many of today's drop-tuned guitarists, the C-1 EX (tuned B-E-A-D-F#-B) and redesigned C-7 (7-string) can fill the bill. Both instruments feature a 26 1/2" extended-scale neck, along with all of the features of the standard-tuned C-1, making them lethal stage and studio instruments for today's modern hard rock bands. As with all Schecter Diamond Series guitars and basses, the new "BlackJack Collection" will be backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Most "BlackJack" models are available now for immediate delivery. MSRP for all "BlackJack" models is $799.00 (C-7 is $849.00). Left-handed versions of all BlackJack models will also be available (add $50.00 to retail price) For more information, visit their web site at http://www.schecterguitars.com/.
