Schecter Guitar has announced it has redesigned their popular Model-T Bass for 2004. The Model-T, a favorite bass of STP's Robert DeLeo, will now feature a Seymour Duncan Basslines Vintage P/J pickup combination, replacing the EMGs of previous models. According to Schecter's Marc LaCorte, "adding the Bassline SPB-1 and SJB-1 set will give a vintage warmth and 'thump' to the bass, which is much more fitting to the Model-T's traditional body styling". The Model-T will feature a contoured alder body; a vintage gloss finished bolt-on rock maple neck and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Simple controls, an oversized pickguard and a chrome control plate add to the instrument's understated charm. Available in Gloss Black and Vintage 3-Tone Sunburst, the Model-T will retail at $849.00. All Schecter Diamond Series Basses are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. l For more information, visit their web site at http://www.schecterguitars.com/.
