January 26, 2004

Unveiled at the Winter NAMM show were Schecter's SB-1 'Flame' Bass. This new bass starts with Schecter's double cutaway body design as seen on their Devil and Scorpion basses. Construction features will consist of a set-in 34" scale rock maple neck into a Mahogany body. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard will be inlaid with a full-neck Black Pearl 'flame' pattern. The Bass will be available in two distinctive 'flame' graphics; a traditional 'Hotrod Flame' and a sinister 'Ghost Flame'. Two EMG Hz bass humbuckers and an EMG Active 2-band EQ (providing 12db of bass and treble cut/boost) will make the new SB-1 bass turn as many heads with it's sound as it will with it's distinctive looks. These new SB-1 Flame Basses will retail at $799.00. All Schecter Diamond Series Basses are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
