CSX24 Added to Crate Audio's Console Mixer Line

January 26, 2005Crate Audio newest addition to its CSX series of console mixers is the CSX24.
New for 2005, the CSX24 is a 24-channel console mixer with a center master section. Each of its 24 channels features a super-silent mic preamp for incredible performance. Channels 1-12 & 17-24 also feature a balanced 1/4" line level input. Channels 13-16 feature dual 1/4" inputs for use with stereo input devices.
Every CSX mixer features a mute switch with indicator light on every channel. In addition, each channel features pan, PFL, and 100 mm faders on dual rail sliders for maximum control and versatility. Each channel has balanced XLR, 1/4" line in and insert jacks, and includes individual gain controls, -20dB pad switch and peak LEDs. Mono channels feature 3 band EQ with sweepable mids, while the stereo channels feature a 4 band EQ. Also included are four auxes per channel with two labeled for aux and two for effects.
The CSX Master section includes a wide array of patching and level options for Aux 1-4, a wide variety of metering options, selectable input voltage, Tape in and out level, switchable phantom power (+48V) with indicator light, and a switchable BNC light. All faders are 100mm rather than 60mm as on many boards in the same class.
The CSX Mixers feature individual channel card designs, toroid transformers for efficient size and weight, a wrist rest and extruded aluminum end blocks for lightweight, comfortable performance.
