EastWest announced Quantum Leap RA at Winter NAMM 2005, a comprehensive rare and ethnic Virtual Instrument.

RA is a massive 14 Gigabyte virtual instrument that covers a vast array of world instruments, many unique and unusual, from six areas of the world including: Africa; Americas and Australia; Europe; Far East; India; Middle East; and Turkish Empire. An elaborate extension of the sample library called "Rare Instruments", conceived a few years prior, all of the sounds from "Rare Instruments" are included in RA, but only represents one-tenth of the content.
