Building on its line of Standard Series instruments, Squier announced three all new Satin Trans Strat guitars. With a wide range of pickup configurations and sophisticated new cosmetics, the new Satin Trans Strat guitars from Squier are designed to appeal to both budget-conscious and discriminating guitarists alike.
Both the Satin Trans Fat Strat and Satin Trans Strat 2HB feature a slender profile mahogany body with a transparent satin finish. Both come without a pickguard, allowing the full grain of the mahogany to be seen, and the newly upgraded pickups--one Duncan Designed humbucking pickup and two Alnico single pickups for the Satin Trans Fat Strat, and dual Chrome Covered Duncan Designed humbucking pickups on the Satin Trans Strat 2HB--are mounted directly onto the body for added sustain.
The new Satin Trans Strat features a basswood body, and the three Alnico single coil pickups are mounted to a brown shell pickguard.
All three models have maple necks with rosewood fingerboards, two-point tremolo systems, one volume and two tone controls with three-way switching, chrome hardware and matching painted headstocks.
US MSRP begins at $329.99.
