Another Fishman breakthrough for acoustic guitarists, the new Ellipse VT undersaddle pickup/preamp system provides sophisticated tone controls along with unobtrusive installation and great value.
Boasting the sound-shaping capabilities of Fishman's preamp systems, this newest addition to the Ellipse family can be installed without visible modification to the instrument. A dedicated Volume control is complemented by an adjustable "smiley curve" EQ, and a feedback-fighting phase switch, all of which can be easily adjusted without affecting playing technique.
The Ellipse VT features Fishman's Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup in wide, narrow and split pickup formats and can be discreetly mounted inside the guitar's soundhole for quick, easy access. The VT's integrated preamp offers a switchable Natural I/Natural II bass boost.
Other features include solder-free installation and 9-Volt battery operation. The Ellipse VT accommodates most round sound-holes from 3.875 inches to 4.125 inches in diameter.
