Rackmount Version of Power Factor Pro Announced

Furman Sound is introducing a single rack space version of their Power Factor Pro floor / stage Power Conditioner at Winter NAMM 2005.
The new unit, called the Power Factor Pro R, employs all the same components found in the stage version. This includes Furman's series mode protection plus power filtration and surge and spike protection. This technology incorporates LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology), designed to clean and filter unwanted AC line noise, as well as comprehensive series mode electrical surge and spike protection including Extreme Voltage Shutdown (E.V.S.). E.V.S. automatically shuts down incoming AC when it exceeds 138 volts RMS offering a further level of protection for your valuable equipment.
Furman's advanced SMP+ power conditioning technology, both Power Factor Models utilize Furman Power Factor Correction circuit. This circuit creates a current reservoir to deliver extra amperage to components when neede and also offers an extra level of filtration to deliver the highest level of AC line noise reduction available in a power conditioner.
The PF-PRO and PF-PRO R are ideal for all forms of power amplifiers, musical instrument amps, or any application where an extra level of AC noise filtration is desired and extra current is needed to drive electrical components.
