Scout Added to Gem Sound's Family of Portable PA Systems

The Gem Sound Scout is a mobile PA solution delivering 250 watts of power. The all-in-one design includes two speaker cabinets, a powered mixer, two microphones, and all necessary cables. The entire system is modular and packs together as a single unit which can be rolled on wheels.
The Scout's six-channel mixer features four mono channels with both XLR mic and 1/4" line inputs, plus two mono/stereo channels with 1/4" line inputs. An additional stereo RCA input allows music playback of a CD player, MP3 player, or any other line-level device. The first microphone input channel has a very useful "ducking" feature that reduces the music level when someone is speaking, and an internal reverb processor allows ambiance to be added without the need for an external unit. Connections are also available for patching in additional outboard gear.
The Gem Sound Scout is scheduled to ship in April with an MSRP of $899.95.
