Parker Guitars is launching the Fly Mojo Flame Single Cutaway at the 2005 Winter NAMM show, marking the first new body shape for the company since the Parker Fly was introduced 11 years ago.
The Fly Mojo, created based on market demand for a Fly model with a richer and heavier tone, is the hottest selling guitar in Parker Guitar's history. Parker engineers have developed the single cutaway design with a mahogany body and neck joined together by Parker's patented multi-finger joint that contributes to the evenness of the sound and resists the inevitable warping that sends many guitars out of tune, according to the company.
On the electronics side, the Fly Mojo Flame Single Cutaway features a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup in the neck and JB in the bridge. It weighs in at eight pounds.
