January 21, 2005
Pearl is adding a new line of Carbon Ply marching drums to its Championship series.
These drums combine carbon fiber cloth with 6 plies of wood. The high-density carbon cloth offers a sophisticated sound with increased projection and response, according to the company.
African Mahogany is used in the snares and tenors. This offers increased resonance and enhances the lower frequencies. Carbon Ply inside and outside increases volume and response while enhancing the higher frequencies. For more information, visit their web site at www.pearldrum.com. |
