PRESS RELEASE

Tapco Offers Preview of Upcoming Products

January 25, 2005

TAPCO used the NAMM show to offer a "sneak-peek" of several upcoming additions to its ever-growing line of affordable professional audio products. On display today are six, never-before-seen models that will take their place in the TAPCO family later this year including the Link.USB and Link.MIDI I/O boxes, the Mix Series analog mixers, and the Blend 16, a 16-channel mixer that will join TAPCO's premium Blend range later this year.

Link.USB

Link.USB is a two-channel, USB bus powered computer audio interface intended for plug-and-play simplicity. With Mackie-designed mic preamps, 48v Phantom power, low latency direct monitoring, and heavy-duty compact design, the Link.USB is the perfect compliment to any computer recording set up. Both MAC and PC compatible, Link.USB features 24-bit 48 kHz operation, is portable and durable, as well as affordable for the entry-level musician.

Link.MIDI

Link.MIDI is a USB bus powered, 4X4 MIDI input/output interface that allows for easy connection of keyboards, samplers, control surfaces or any other MIDI gear to a MAC or PC computer. The "MIDI Thru" button makes it possible to send MIDI messages from input one to all four MIDI outputs. Like the Link.USB, Link.MIDI features a durable compact design that is perfect for desktop placement.
