TerraTec Introduces HI JACK Instrument Preamp

TerraTec Producer's HI JACK preamp features a variable high-impedance input, making it a suitable front end for electric guitars and acoustic instruments equipped with electric or piezo pickup systems.
With a discrete FET input amplifier stage serving as the front end, this compact box boosts pickups' signals to line level. It offers gain reserves ranging from 1 dB to + 40 dB. Sporting 2 M-ohm, high impedance circuitry, HI JACK's instrument input has a significant audio advantage over conventional line inputs on mixers: It puts an end to muddy signals due to mismatched impedances of pickups and amps.
Its line output also accommodates balanced circuits, enabling greater cable lengths without annoying interference impairing signals.
Priced at 79.00 euros, Hi Jack will be available in March 2005.
