Adamas Reissues the #47 Model

Charlie Kaman's personal and favorite guitar – Adamas #47 – has long been the standard that Ovation uses as the benchmark for acoustic response.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Adamas guitars, Ovation will offer a limited quantity of replica #47 models. Each guitar will be built within the same design and attention to detail as the original, and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Adamas #47 (model 1187-247) reissue features a Unidirectional Carbon Graphite top with original cloth fiberglass bowl. Available in eye-catching Adamas Reverse Red Burst finish, #47 features 13-piece exotic hardwood epaulets and original Adamas gold inlays. The walnut neck includes a graphite support strip, and #47 also boasts a slotted peghead and carved walnut bridge.
