Ampeg Offers PBC228 Mobile Combo Amp

Ampeg used the Winter NAMM show to announce the new PBC228 "Carry-On" combo amplifier, designed for the active player seeking a light combo for small to medium sized venues.

The PBC228 features 200 watts of output into two custom Eminence Neodymium drivers; Italian poplar cabinet construction for portability; a PB800-style preamp section for two different instrument inputs; and new "Carry-On" cosmetics – it nearly fits in an over-head compartment.
