Austin Amps Get a Facelift

At this January's Winter NAMM, Austin unveiled new cosmetics on five of its electric guitar, bass, and acoustic amps: the AU15G, AU35G, AU35A, AU20B, and AU40B. The updated cosmetics will give the amps a more hip, boutique appeal.

The AU15G features 15 watts RMS, 8" speaker with wizzer cone, closed-back cabinet, clean and distortion channels and more. The AU35G features 35 watts RMS, 10" speaker, closed-back cabinet, overdrive channel and master channel and more. The AU35A is a 35 watt acoustic/electric guitar amp, 8" speaker and a domed tweeter, closed-back cabinet, master volume control as well as treble, mid and bass controls and more. The AU20B bass amp features 20 watts RMS, 8" speaker, closed-back cabinet, treble, mid and bass tone controls, and more. Finally, the AU40B amp comes with 40 watts RMS, 10" speaker, closed-back cabinet, treble, mid and bass tone control and more.
