January 21, 2005

CODA has introduced a new line of hand percussion that includes conga drums, bongos, djembes, timbales, tambourines, cowbells, stands and more. The congas, bongos and djembes are made from oak and feature synthetic hide heads for tone and resistance to temperature changes. The oak bodies also make for a richer, more traditional sound than common fiberglass models, according to the company. The drums also feature Contour Rhythm rims, making the drums easier to play for longer periods. The conga drums are available in quinto (10"), conga (11") and tumba (12") models. Conga stands are also available separately. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.themusiclink.net/.
