New MaXiO 032 Audio/MIDI Interface from ESI

ESI announced that it is shipping the MaXiO 032, a 24-bit/192kHz PCI Audio/MIDI interface with 4 ADAT I/O ports. The basic MaXiO 032 system consists of a breakout box and a PCI interface.

The 4 ADAT inputs and 4 ADAT outputs provide 32 input and 32 output channels, via a single PCI card and its breakout box. There is also S/PDIF I/O and a full 16 channel MIDI interface, plus stereo analog input with microphone preamps (including 48V phantom power).

Also, the MaXiO 032 system can be expanded via its E.D.I (EgoSys Digital Interface) connectors into a full MaXiO XD system by adding one or several EX8000 units.

2 analog input and 2 analog output channels
2 analog balanced inputs through combo (XLR / TRS) connectors (+4dBu/-10dBV)
MIC/LINE/Hi-Z select switch & GAIN control for each analog inputs
High precision & Ultra low noise (-135.5dBu) Microphone preamplifier with +48V phantom power
8 analog balanced outputs with TRS & XLR connectors (+4dBu/-10dBV)
Headphone output with gain control
192kHz S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O
Word Clock I/O: Fs / 256*Fs, BNC connector
1-in/1-out 16 channels MIDI I/O
Internal 64-ch digital mixer
