PRESS RELEASE
New Surepick from Planet Waves
January 21, 2005

Planet Waves introduced a new guitar pick with a serious grip – literally. A soft, textured, rubber grip is molded onto both sides of the pick, making the pick more comfortable and less prone to slip or change positions, improving performance greatly. Unlike picks that simply have a raised design on the surface, the thin overmolded rubber of the Surepick is non-slip, decreasing the chances of dropping the pick greatly, while retaining the performance characteristics of a normal guitar pick. The new Surepick is available in three gauges which are color-coded by gauge: thin, medium, and heavy. The Planet Waves Surepick retails for $5.99 per box of five, and will begin shipping on February 1, 2005. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.planet-waves.com/.
