Tama Drums introduced three all-new Starclassic bell brass snare drums at the Anaheim NAMM Show. The SLS1465H features a 6.5 x 14" shell and lists for $1679,99B; the SLS1455H has a 5.5 x 14" shell and lists for $1599.99B and the SLS1440H features a 4 x 14" shell and lists for $1399.99B. All three drums feature zinc die-cast hoops and brushed nickel hardware. Tama's drums of 3mm thick bell brass, featuring the same musical metal used in drum cymbals, have been must-have snare drums for many Tama artists. The reason for that isn't the price: bell brass snare drums are not cheap. But according to Tama Communications, "Only bell brass offers nuanced sensitivity with skull-splitting volume and penetration." For more information, visit their web site at http://www.tama.com/.
