Auralex Acoustics, Inc., the industry leader in innovative sound control solutions, proudly announced the availability of the new SpaceCoupler™ at Winter NAMM 2006. The SpaceCoupler provides alternatives to traditional reflective, absorptive, or diffusive acoustical treatments.
"The SpaceCoupler is ideal for creating a big sound in a small room," says Brian Wheat, product marketing manager for Auralex. "It also can be used as a visual screen to block direct reflections, or installed over a highly absorbent surface to effectively increase its acoustical efficiency."
Designed by Russ Berger for Auralex Acoustics, the SpaceCoupler optimizes acoustical environments for a wide range of performance and recording styles. By providing an acoustical boundary interaction between loosely coupled spaces, the SpaceCoupler generates a low level reverberant tail to create a full, well-developed sound even in small footprint spaces. Strong and lightweight, the beautiful 24"x24" solid wood panels install easily and can be used in a variety of placement options, including "T-bar" grids.
The SpaceCoupler is one of the first offerings in the new pArtScience product line, a family of acoustical treatments designed for exceptional performance with a custom look, all at an affordable price. For more information, visit their web site at www.auralex.com.
