Fender® Acoustics is proud to announce the introduction of the all new California Series of acoustic guitars, featuring three new models including the Sonoran™, the Malibu™ and the Kingman™ model acoustic guitars. A design collaboration between Fender's most respected builders in both its Corona, California and Nashville, Tennessee facilities, the new instruments in California Series offer classic looks, unique features and an overall "vibe" that all fender enthusiasts will appreciate in an acoustic guitar.
Each model in the California Series features a dreadnought body shape with solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and a rosewood bridge.
What sets these instruments apart is not just their incredible quality and value, but also the return to the Fender Stratocaster® guitar headstock design and overall "vintage influenced" vibe. The soft "V" shape of the necks offer up a feel reminiscent to that of other classic Fender guitars, which may be very familiar to a great number of electric players. Additionally, each guitar in the new California Series is available in a choice of either straight ahead dreadnought design, or a dreadnought cutaway design with Fishman® Classic IV™ electronics with built-in tuner.
The California Series acoustic guitars are fantastic for fans of vintage style instruments, new players and Fender enthusiasts everywhere. They can be seen for the first time at Fender's booth at this winter's NAMM show in Anaheim, California. US MSRP is $714.27 for the dreadnought models, and $785.70 for dreadnought models with electronics. For more information, visit their web site at www.fender.com.
