Scott Schumer Launches New US Distribution Company

January 20, 2006

Scott Schumer has set himself a new challenge: exclusive distribution of the highest quality professional audio products via the launch of In2Out Audio. "In forming this company, we are making pristine audio, flexibility and reliability our prime directives," says Schumer, "folding US brand management and innovative strategies into top and bottom line growth, whilst providing superior solutions to our customers.

"Our vision is to have a distribution company that brings the best of all possible brands together to achieve an outstanding overall result from intelligently designed, integrated systems. It's what I know well and I'm delighted the idea has come to fruition in the form of In2Out."

Schumer isn't interested in just shifting boxes. His aim is to ensure that his customers know they're going to get the best advice, the best solutions and the best technical backup, whilst maintaining the spirit and communication of doing business direct with the manufacturer.

"In2Out's first brand is DiGiCo, which certainly sets the standard for us," says Schumer. "To start with such a prestigious brand is thrilling and I'm looking forward to expanding the DiGiCo presence in the US."

To achieve the company's aims, In2Out is incorporating part of DiGiCo's existing infrastructure including the top sales and technical team of Allan Nichols and Taidus Vallandi, ensuring that DiGiCo's existing and future customers are assured of the 24/7 service they currently enjoy.

"We've always wanted someone of Scott's calibre working with us," says DiGiCo managing director Bob Doyle. "So to have him heading up top-flight US distribution representing DiGiCo gives us the best of all possible worlds with no change to our current team and set-up, an optimum arrangement for us."

In2Out has other product lines in its sites and intends to move forward with these in the spring, when it may also be looking for additional high-end brands to add to its portfolio. The focus will remain on serving the customer through synergy. Simply adding brands to bolster sales is not the aim.

"Careful selection of complimentary brands of the highest quality will always yield maximum benefit to our individual brands as well as our customers," concludes Schumer. "From the microphone to the loudspeakers, everything comes in2 and out of the mixing console so with DiGiCo as our inaugural brand, we are off to a wonderful and exciting start."
