MSR Announces Two Entry-Level Acoustical Treatment Kits
January 26, 2006
Fairfax, CA-based MSR, Inc., maker of the acclaimed StudioPanel® acoustic treatment solutions, today announced that it has introduced two new entry-level acoustical treatment kits. The new SP220 kit will have a MAP of $799.00 and will include two each of the company's high-performance Absorber and Diffuser panels (4 total).
"The SP220 will allow MI dealers and pro audio boutiques to offer StudioPanel quality to their customers at a much lower price point." commented MSR president Anthony Grimani.
MSR also announced its new SP502 kit. Ideal for small to medium-sized studios, the SP502 kit effectively controls room echo and reflection decay time over a wide range of frequencies. The kit includes five (5) Absorber panels and two (2) of the firm's Bazorber™ panels. The SP502 kit will have a MAP of $1,699.00.
Grimani continued: "Despite the lower price points, there are absolutely no quality compromises with our new kits — and, the end-user can easily add more StudioPanel components like Bazorbers, SpringTraps™ and CloudPanels™ as their needs grow."
Available in six standard colors with an additional 42 optional choices, the new SP220 and SP502 kits come with the same do-it-yourself installation kit included with the higher-priced StudioPanel kits. The point-of-sale package contains all the necessary tools as well as sophisticated software that allows the end-user to properly place and install each system component for maximum results. The company's innovative larger room kits and various patent-pending acoustic treatment components remain available. Additionally, MSR's expert staff is available to assist customers.
